On the road and out of the mainstream
Just returned from a busy week on the road with Under the Surface: 1,022 miles, four states, three universities, six talks, two radio shows, and a geology convention. Thanks to my hosts at University of Pittsburgh’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, The Social Science CafĂ© sponsored by West Virginia University’s Department of Anthropology, Kent State’s East Liverpool Campus, the Buffalo Association of Professional Geologist, WESA Essential Pittsburgh, and Susan Arbetter’s Capitol Press Room. And thanks to the faculty, students, community members, and professionals who came out to meet me, hear my talk and share your own information and views on shale gas development. There is no end to the learning in this story.
